Briggs Genuine B351225 Fill Valve

Genuine Briggs B351225 fill valve for Glenwood toilets that use 1.6 gallons of water per flush. This would include tank models 4470, and 4472. This fill valve comes with the gasket, and nut to secure it to the tank. To install this fill valve the first step is to shut the water supply off to the toilet. You will then need to disconnect the supply line, and remove the nut on the bottom side of the valve. Once the line is disconnected it is extremely important to flush the stop out. You can do this by placing the end of the supply line into an empty bucket, and turning the water supply on. Allow the water to run through for a few seconds, and then shut the water off. It is recommended to repeat this process at least 2 to 3 times before installing the new fill valve. Once you have flushed the stop you will place the fill valve through the hole in the tank, and secure it with the nut provided. The final steps are to connect the supply line, and turn the water on.
